Old ceramic fuse boards replaced with a modern board and safety switches, usually in a day.
If your house still has ceramic fuses, or the power trips when the kettle and the heater are on together, the board is probably due.
We replace the board, fit RCD safety switches on every circuit, label everything properly and test it before we leave. Most upgrades are done in a single day, and the power is only off for a few hours of it.
You get a Certificate of Compliance for the work, which your insurer may ask for.
$99 call-out, then $110 an hour.

Five years on workmanship. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty.
Two electricians and an apprentice working across the inner west since 2016. Mostly older houses: switchboards, rewires, lighting and smoke alarms.
Usually three to four hours in the middle of the day. We'll tell you the time when we book it in.
Only at the start and the end, so we can walk you through the new board. Plenty of customers leave us a key.
They take card, bank transfer.

Our fuses kept blowing every time the dryer went on. They replaced the whole board in one day and explained what each switch does. Clean, on time and the quote was what we paid.

Thanks Sarah. Enjoy running the dryer and the heater at the same time.

Booked them for two smoke alarms and they noticed a scorched power point in the hallway. Fixed it the same visit.

Good work and fair price. Arrived about half an hour later than planned, but they rang ahead to say so.
